Centrifugal glass wool is mixed with natural minerals such as quartz sand, dolomite, borax, etc., and adopts the centrifugal blowing glass wool production process to produce glass wool with good resilience, soft and slender fibers, fluffy and interlaced structure, and can be paved with ribs. Aluminum foil and other veneers have excellent performances such as sound absorption and noise reduction, lightening construction load, fast production speed, and shortening construction period.

The combustion performance of building materials has four grades, namely A-grade non-combustibility; B1-grade flame retardancy; B2-grade flammability; B3-grade flammability. The fire rating of the reinforced aluminum foil centrifugal glass wool should be checked for material quality, specifications, thickness, etc. before construction, whether it meets the design requirements, and a combustion test should be done. In the "Technical Standard for Building Smoke Exhaust System" GB51251, Uetersen glass wool meets the fire resistance limit and thermal insulation requirements of the smoke prevention and exhaust system, and is widely used in construction chemical industry, metallurgical power, energy transportation and other fields. Class A1 is non-combustible.

Glass wool also has good sound absorption properties. Centrifugal glass wool, as a porous sound-absorbing material, can absorb sound because of the large number of tiny pores connected inside and outside. When sound waves are incident on the centrifugal glass wool, the sound waves can enter the interior of the material along the pores, causing the vibration of air molecules in the pores. Due to the viscous resistance of the air and the friction between the air molecules and the hole wall, the sound energy is converted into heat energy and lost. After filling with centrifugal glass wool, the sound insulation effect is significantly improved compared to the light wall with only gypsum board.

Regarding the storage of centrifugal glass wool: it should be stacked in a dry, anhydrous indoor place. When handling the thermal insulation material, it is strictly forbidden to step on and squeeze to prevent the material from being deformed.
