Gas usually liquefies at critical temperatures, and the critical temperature of natural gas is -161-162 degrees Celsius. After natural gas liquefaction, storage tanks and all kinds of pipelines need to carry out certain insulation measures. In the past, polyurethane and aerogel felt are commonly used for LNG pipeline and storage tank insulation. LNG special glass fiber elastic felt is mainly imported from overseas.

In recent years, with the development and improvement of the new energy industry chain, LNG insulation and cooling technology is becoming more and more comprehensive. Uetersen's research and development of domestic LNG insulation products mainly focuses on elastic felt, which complements the defects of traditional thermal insulation and cooling materials, making further breakthroughs in the direction of cooling preservation.

In the direction of heat preservation, energy saving and low carbon, Uetersen is in line with the direction of international policies. The raw material of the elastic felt for cold preservation is silicon-containing mineral. The whole production process adopts the concept of environmental protection technology, low energy consumption, no formaldehyde, phenolic emission, soft felt body and excellent resilience. Fine fibers are flexible, hard to break and malleable. At the same time, it can meet the critical liquefaction temperature of LNG gas, that is, the liquefaction temperature condition of -162℃. Uetersen elastic felt is suitable for laying insulation over large areas. It can be laid in combination with perlite or installed separately according to the design requirements of LNG storage tank. The two materials can complement each other and fully meet the thermal insulation construction of LNG storage tank with different thickness positions.
